Youth Supported Living

At Blacksmith Healthcare, we are passionate about supporting young people aged 16–25 through safe, nurturing, and development-focused supported accommodation. Our service is registered with Ofsted, and we uphold the highest standards of care, quality, and safety through our qualified staff team and robust policies.

We understand the unique challenges faced by today’s youth, especially those who are vulnerable, have complex needs, have experienced exploitation, or are at risk of entering care. That’s why our homes provide more than just accommodation — they offer a warm, supportive environment where young people can feel secure, valued, and empowered.

Our current property, Greenview House in Gillingham, Kent, is a fully furnished two-bedroom home designed to meet the needs of:
-
Children in care aged 16–18 years
-
Care leavers aged 18–25 years
-
Non-care leavers aged 16–25 years
Every young person is supported through a person-centred planning process, where we co-develop service plans to promote independence, stability, and long-term positive outcomes.
Alongside day-to-day support, we provide opportunities for growth through education, workshops, upskilling, and wellness initiatives.
Our mission is simple: to help young people build the confidence, resilience, and skills they need to transition into adulthood — regardless of the barriers they may face.
At Blacksmith Healthcare, diversity is celebrated, and every young person’s journey is respected. We work closely with local authorities and families to ensure placements not only meet statutory requirements but also provide the right foundations for a brighter future.
